We are animal-focused and human-centered

Companion Animal Medical Project (CAMP) is a homegrown, grassroots 501c3 nonprofit organization in Central Oregon. Established in 2020, CAMP provides free veterinary care - both preventative and urgent - to the unhoused population of Central Oregon.

Central Oregon Gives

Central Oregon Gives is our region’s hub for end-of-year, nonprofit giving. Our digital giving platform offers a convenient clearinghouse for donors to learn about and fund 80 different nonprofits. With each donation made, the donor receives a perk such as a free cup of coffee or pint of beer, and is entered to win large prizes. The nonprofits that receive the largest amount of funding through Central Oregon Gives receive prizes of their own from anonymous matching donors.

WE ARE GOING FOR:

SUPPORT OUR WORK

Many of those who are experiencing housing and/or financial insecurities often have to choose between providing basic needs for themselves or their companion. CAMP aims to remove barriers to veterinary care to support the human-animal bond and ensure that both the human and the pet have access to basic needs.

The members of CAMP believe that in order to fully advocate for the animal, you must also show that grace and dignity to the person attached to it. Donations allow us to continue to serve our community’s unsheltered pets and people.

Animals are such agreeable friends - they ask no questions; they pass no criticisms.
